Mar Mikhael and Gemmayzeh: Two neighbourhoods to walk through, at the heart of Beirut’s creative scene, with old buildings, bars, and galleries.

Alfurat in Hamra: A long-standing bookshop where Arabic literature, political thought, and archival finds can be found.

American University of Beirut: One of the city’s most historic and beautiful spaces, with stone buildings, old trees, and views of the Mediterranean.
